I'm briefly emerging from the land of baby bliss to bring you my special self portrait tuesday. Adelaide and I, just seconds after her birth--before I even knew if she was a girl or a boy. Technically not a self portrait, but a photo by Jessie (thank you, my friend!). I really like how Steve's arm reaching in the tub, together with mine, sort of frames her. I have no memory of her facing "out" like this, so it must have been a very brief moment.
I'm headed back "in"....we're all doing lovely. Thank you, thank you for all your sweet well wishes and warm blessings--we've felt them all. Much more to come soon, I promise.
