Aww, I love the pillowcases - and Ms. A's sweet little leg! Adorable.
It's about to rain here in Halifax. It's still chilly but the birds are back in full force. On my walk to the bus this morning I saw many anxious cats sitting in windowsills and staring at the bird-filled trees! Spring is definitly making her comeback!
Lovely banner and beautiful pictures. I love the aprons over your kitchen window, the colorful vintage pillowcases, and the adorable cuddly picture of you gals together in the morning sunlight.
Also love the spring links on the right. Lois Lenski is one of my very favorites.
How lovely! We don't get snow etc here, but make up for it with the darkest of days: our days are shortening, we are 'heading in'- and currently enjoying each crisp, sunny autumn day as though it is the last.
...and stocking up on waterproofs for the crawling baby...
Thanks for the reminder of childhood, I had those EXACT daisy sheets when I was a little girl. My grandmother loved that comapny's stuff, I want to say that it was called Una, or Ula or something.
We had several sets of the daisy sheets.
Happy spring, from the Georgia coast. (Where it's warm!)
so great! and those pillowcases look amazing - with that time-worn softness :-)
it'll be near 70 here today (funny since it snowed on tuesday) so we'll be outside - hooray!!!!!
We have one last day of joyful spring-time skiing here this afternoon. It's a great way to say "goodbye" to snow. Inside we've got bulbs blooming and grass growing for Easter (started it a little too early). We'll be putting on the mudboots and visiting sugar houses this weekend--hopefully in lighter jackets. Sarah
i have the same pillowcase (on the right)! thrifted it many years ago. i also had the matching sheets...though i haven't seen them lately...i love the aprons as curtains!
Oh, I love, love, love the daisy pillowcase. Reminds me of my field in summer....sigh... will we ever move past, mud, snow, rain, ice, mud?
