I know what you mean about your heart growing three sizes - when my child first said "I love you, Mama" without prompting, I thought mine would swell right out of my chest. Too sweet.

I love how much you nurture creativity in your children. You give homeschooling such a good name! I am doing a puppet tutorial and would love to hear your thoughts.
It looks a bit like "Mama," with a sort-of portrait there in the middle. I don't think I've thrown away one of my son's drawings from that age.

it's kind of right to left... but that's good!! Leonardo da Vinci used to write right to left... and he was a kind of very cool dude!
