love it! saw my first last week!

happy equinox to you to :D
here is soooo cold!
it's snowing! here! on march!
incredible....

the thing i love about living in north carolina is that there are so many beautiful birds. no snow, though :( i've been watching and listening to them for a while now. but let me say that picture of your two babes watching for and identifying the birds? so precious. the way adelaide is looking at her big brother. oh my!

happy spring equinox to you and yours! such darling pictures, i love how adelaide looks so serious (and just like you).

You still have so much snow! We don't. The jawline of a baby is one of my favourite things in the world. So soft and pretty.

those babes and those birds, oh my what blessings.

I don't think I've commented before (I get a bit fuddled by where I have been sometimes! Blogwise, that is :))

Your Ada is so sweet. I love her look of complete absorbtion as she listens to her brother tell her about all the birds.

Happy Spring!
Blessed be,
es

Thank you and Happy Spring to you and your family too :)

My little D has the same Jammies as little Miss A! So sweet! I just love how she seems so intrigued and big brother is so naturally teaching her.
Happy Spring to your family.

Amanda, I hope you've had the chance to see the entire biography of Mr. Rogers, "Fred Rogers: America's Favorite Neighbor," from which that clip is an excerpt. It's really well done. When I interned at "the neighborhood" in college, my first assignment was to watch his biography to better understand him and his mission. (Yes, I am a total Mr. Rogers fan.)

I so enjoy your blog. Come on, Spring!

I noticed the singing earlier this week. Welcome feathered friends, we're glad you're back.

Halleluia!

Yay for Spring! :) Adorable pictures

Lovely photo...welcome the birdies!!

Beautiful :-)

Happy Spring!

beautiful bird shot -made my morning.

Here in Washington, the birds have been happily singing and splashing in the rain puddles for weeks. It is truly my favorite sign of spring!

yay!! spring is here!

Us too! I heard them them chirping outside this morning when I woke up and it was sooo hopeful a sound. Now if we can just get the snow to melt!

What beautiful photos! Happy Spring to you!

Happy spring to you and your family. I love the photos of the quiet moments of your family life.

I LOVE robin redbreasts in the snow!! Spring!!!

Gosh, I miss snow.

Beautiful.

Hooray! We just saw our first this week, too! So excited for Spring!

I love the pic of your little ones with the bird books! Here in the Pacific Northwest we've had robins for a while now, but we've just started hearing the frogs!

We have the same jammies as A. And thank goodness for spring!

Happy Spring!!
We are enjoying our returning birds, too. We live along a migration route so we get to hear some unusual birds as they travel through. Right now, some of my favorite species of Thrushes are singing to us. Woops--I wish I could remember their specific name but they sing just two long notes.
Enjoy your bird watching---it's so fun!

So sweet. What a peaceful scene.

Wonderful photo series! Glad the robins brought you some smiles.

The reading babes shot is adorable. And you make all the snow look like fun!

I love the return of the Robins, it really is a true sign of Spring. I like to take my dogs out, brush them and then later see little tufts of doggy fluff up in the nests.

Love the photos, as usual your babes are so charming!

Even though it snowed last night, ours came a few weeks ago. Last week we heard the frogs singing for the first time, and the owl has been calling for a mate. So excited that winter is nearly history!

just wanted you to know I posted the crowns on my site, and we did a bird craft yesterday too-love the cute picture of the boys.

You have such a gift in the way you express yourself and your thoughts.

wow!! gorgeous shots, amanda!!

...so dang cute the way that little girl is the spitting image of you...

oh what a beautiful site both your children and the birds, could it be true, is spring finally here? someone tell the snow so it can melt!

brings back many a childhood memory. (thank you) and welcome robin redbreast. welcome spring!

happy spring-time to you all! I adore those photos.

and to you also! I haven't seen a robin yet but I heard one the other day. My son (almost 5) has his bird book ready for when they do show up -- he can't wait!

How 'tweet'. Such wonderment and awe.

Wonderful posting...makes me so excited for spring..

Oh, Amanda...they are so beautiful!
The birds AND the littles, of course :)

(By the way, it is unreal how much little Ms. A looks like you in that top picture)

xoxo

PS: Thanks for all the mini-sculpture support the other day...You are a love.

Ah, robins! The harbingers of spring they are- happy springtime to you, as well. I must admit, I am a bit partial to them, myself! ;)

Amanda, your children sitting by the window are so precious and Lady A is SO attentive! Also, thank you for the Mr. Rogers video- I'm an adoring fan since my EARLY childhood. <3

I've been lurking for a while now but I just had to come out to say Happy Equinox to you too! Ours has been just as fantastic as yours seems to be.

great picture, I'm so happy spring is here. I have been visiting your blog more frequent and it is just captivating. LOL Uncle Ron

Those stripes are adorable. I love stripes on babies. Happy Spring!

i love the way she looks at him in the first photo.
wishing you a lot of bird watching fun.

That is an amazing shot of the birds-such depth- I love the corralation with your little ones by the window reading bird books.
