I look at your photos each day and I feel right now my house is just devoid of color and is terribly cluttered that you can't even see behind the mess. Lovely photos, very peaceful!
Today's post, and yesterday's, are lovely reminders of a season that makes me both quietly reflective, and exhilarated. I sure do enjoy your blog... thank you for sharing your views and gifts.
Amanda,
Your posts are like a daily trip to another life - quiet, peaceful, cozy, homemade - a taste of what home should be. I too am enjoying the change of seasons, crisper air, clear blue skies and the need to settle in with knitting, a good book and enjoyment of the fall colors. Thanks for sharing with us!
That must be one of the last Hortensias of the season - it's a great flower indeed - with all the different and delicate shades they come in.
I'm looking forward to a couple more beautiful Autumn afternoons over here as well. Short and sweet before winter comes with it's own "favorite part of the day" (In my case: in the middle of the night with a thick blanket of snow) - hmm but not now...not yet.
Your photos always feel so peaceful and special. Beautiful as always!

I love the rocks in your vase. That adds so much interest! And makes the flowers stand up better too, I'd guess.
