As I'm sitting here drinking my tea out of one of my husband's mugs (he loves to collect them) I'm thinking I really should pull out one of my tea cups instead.
I'm really enjoying your daily shots. Happy Sunday to you too
well being in london, cups of tea throughout the day with some nice crunchy toast with marmite on it.... is just sunday every day... i bet that what send off all the bears away. lovely picture...
If only we could remember to take a photo before its all devoured! Feeding 3 tasmanian devils is not a delicate matter...even if they are served with vintage cups and plates!! Breakfast etiquette...now where would i find that around here...probably under the laundry! Happy Sunday!
I'm really enjoying your days in photos. As usual so inspiring, simple, honest, true, warm, welcoming.
I remember ages ago you talked about having your blog turned into a book, and mentioned the site you used. Would you mind passing that on again, if it's easy to locate, as I have no idea where to look in your archives. Thank you.
Enjoy your coming week.
Sharyn - you can't drink tea out of a mug!!!
It must be taken from a fine bone china cup.
And Carole - Vegemite is our "poison" in Australia - it's extremely divisive for a black yeast paste!
Amanda - I love your blue crochety doily thingy.
I love the simply breakfast site...so simple...I just love it...and everything looks so good...makes one want to just pull up a chair and have some breakfast...I wonder if all her meals are like that?
Love a simple breakfast. Breakfast much have been on our minds today as I posted about my breakfast routine of having Miso soup... I guess winter requires comfort.

It seems so much prettier than the bowl of Weetabix I have every morning! Although I think even you could make the Weetabix look pretty:)

I'm loving that log cabin quilt with the larger scale centers to the squares. And the red and turquoise.

Ellie -
Sure! It was Blurb that I used: www.blurb.com, and here's the post about it:

Lulu.com also provides the same service, though I haven't used them for that yet.
Best,
Amanda

Ditto on the quilt. I love it. I also love Sunday morning. So good for snuggling under quilts with tea. (or chocolate)
Yay for the blog publishing information!

I love the similarities in the colors of photo 18 & 19, the blue, black red and white, both so lovely and wintery.

Amanda, sorry. My last comment came out a bit dismissive sounding. I didn't mean it to ( I'm a bit lacking in social adeptness sometimes).

I thought you might appreciate this poem by
Jessica Nelson North:
The Tea Party
I had a little tea party
This afternoon at three.
'Twas very small-
Three guest in all-
Just I, myself and me.
Myself ate all the sandwiches,
While I drank up the tea;
'Twas also I who ate the pie
And passed the cake to me.

Ahhh. A peaceful moment in the life of a mama. There's something about tea that just brings calmness to any part of the day.
