Farmer Boy? That's what's constantly being read in our house these days. We're always starving after reading about those stacks of pancakes dripping with maple sugar and butter.
My little girl loves to wear her Carhart overalls "just like Papa!" I can't wait to read the Little House books to her! They were annual reads for me for about seven years.
As usual :: great picture . Love the scene and the colors. Very peaceful. Your 30 day picture blog is almost over... But i am sure you have more sweet things for us , readers, in your handsewn
sleeves...
I love,..love it when kids recreate.
Ir ead above that he is doing it from the Long Winter...I have read that book for the past 3 winters until this winter when I started taking some classes at the college and forgot to read it.(probably because i am reading so much else)
great job to him!!

Hi! I LOVE your blog. I am one of the 1,780 subscribers and I am always delighted with your pictures and always learning a lot here.
Anyway, said that, I am writing specially because I am supporting a brazilian breastfeeding group that makes handmade cloth breastfeeding dolls (who also give natural bith). I am trying to help them to sell the dolls here in the US.
I am brazilian and founded an NGO to work with breastfeeding promotion in slums. This is one of the groups we work with for 20 years already!
Now I am living in the US, but always when I can I still work with them by internet.
They really need help to sell the dolls, we would be eternally grateful if you vould publicize their work and their website in your blog.
Very cute. I hear felt is a very heavy load to haul. My little guy made a horse and buggy out of Legos last night while I was reading out loud. I should have taken a picture, but he insisted I read into the walkie-talkie (so that it sounded like a book on tape), so my hands were a little tied up.

Yes...the Little House books. The favorite scene being when Almanzo and Cap Garland set off for the wheat in a snowstorm. In The Long Winter.

And I love all the browns in your photo. So serene.

Oh I can't wait. We've read the first book, but haven't delved into the series yet. I think we'll tackle that this summer. Thanks for the inspiration!
