It's that time of year. The shift 'in' has begun ever so slightly. It's barely noticeable yet, really - most of our time is still spent out of doors, loving the beginnings of fall. But, the shift is present, and we're finding ourselves beginning to be inside a bit more than in the days of summer. I can feel the anticipation of more of those days ahead as we welcome the coming seasons.
And so, I find myself cleaning, purging, rearranging furniture and moving things around. Making room for coming 'in' once again. Carving out little pockets of space for the things that are most important to us right now. Letting go of the things and spaces that no longer work for us.
It feels so good. The house feels so alive like this, when an old space becomes 'fresh' - when we have room for the projects, activities and things most dear to us in our days.
