And so, what does one do exactly with gallons full of beautiful, yummy, creamy raw milk each day? Well, after sharing with the calf, and sharing with friends....there has been lots of drinking milk, and a dollop of cream added to just about everything (really).
And then...there is butter, yogurt, cheese, ice cream, and more of all of the above!
Oh my goodness - Yum. I think I have a new hobby. Today's goal? Figuring out how to make my own cheese press.
(My cheese guide has been Home Cheese Making. Paneer, bondon, lemon cheese, cottage cheese, and mozarella - all so good. So far, though, this one with a bit of fresh rosemary, salt and garlic has been the hands-down favorite. Any other recommendations for me?)
