Alright, there may be no snow yet, nor does it appear to be coming anytime soon. BUT, I'm feeling it now. Maybe it was the date downtown with my girlie to take a ride on the horse drawn wagon through the holiday-lit Old Port. Maybe it was the Winter Holiday music concert at Calvin's school. Maybe it's the arrival of holiday cards in the mail each day from friends near and far, and beginning to write our own. Maybe it's many late nights in a row spent happily knitting gifts. And maybe - just maybe - these kids of mine have convinced me that we really are deep into December right now. I'm catching up, though still moving slowly. It seems there's really no hurry. All this fun, decorating, baking, and making can linger through the rest of the year and beyond, yes? I think so.
Today, I think every door in the house might get its own evergreen swag. I will hang those stockings. And I have a feeling that village (angora roving makes the best snow of all!) might get some more love too. Oh, and these cookies might need to be made as well. Yes! Cheers to the merry making in your home and mine!
