Well, I suppose it was only natural that after all that orange - just one day after making that funny little bag - that I made myself this one. A bit of palate-cleansing, perhaps?
It's as simple as a bag can be, really. I've had this vintage linen piece, with the text stamped onto it that I wanted to keep intact. I stitched on a doily, and lined the whole thing with mattress ticking and some pockets. Simple and easy. Just right.
I love the tiny stripe of yellow on the side of that linen - it's my favorite part.
Oh, I do so love the colors of the sea.
