1/15/10 - I'm a little overwhelmed by the many emails coming in requesting that I link to various relief efforts. The positive in that is that there are so many organizations working to provide relief, and so many people passionate about supporting them! I don't feel qualified to sift through and list more than I already have in this post, so I think I'll let this post below sit here for another day and encourage you to read through the comments. There is so much information in there on ways to assist - both financial, craft-wise, and spiritual. The most important thing, I think, is to do something - in whatever way is right for you! Don't be overwhelmed by the choices, or misled by your seeming 'smallness' - light a candle, sew a blanket, send a dollar...whatever it may be. It matters.
