Some simple sights bringing me great joy this morning, as we roll on into another week:

:: the comfort of a quick and easy, old favorite sewing project (Artsy Clutch from Amy Karol's Bend the Rules Sewing).
:: ricotta gnocchi with tomato pesto sauce (from Apples for Jam) on the menu tonight for the second time in four days. Yum.
:: the patience, persistence and wit of these two as new things are learned.
:: that hair. I know, I've said it a million times. But I love it a million times over.
:: this boy and his Skord (homemade skateboard turned into snowboard),
created for the Soule Family Backyard Olympic Games. Tickets available
at Calvin's bunk - they're free, and the games are oh-so-good.
