Today, I am pleased to tell you about our sponsor Rhythm of the Home. Rhythm of the Home was created by Heather and Bernadette. In their words:
"Rhythm of The Home is a free quarterly magazine based on the seasonal rhythms of the Waldorf and Montessori philosophies. It is our goal to bring this wonderful community of artists, educators, writers, photographers and parents together to share ideas, projects, recipes and traditions that help to enhance each of the seasons."
Rhythm of the Home also maintains a blog, found here.
Rhythm of the Home: We began Rhythm of The Home in August of 2009, and our first edition went live on December 1st, 2009. Our Spring edition recently went live on March 1st, 2010.
Rhythm of the Home: We were inspired by our own love of bringing the wonder of nature and seasonal celebrations to our children. We also feel that there is an incredible online community of crafters, artists, writers and parents who would enjoy a place to showcase the amazing work that they create every day.
Rhythm of the Home: Our children are the primary inspiration behind so much of what we do. They are the sparks that ignite us to learn more, create more, share more. They are constantly bringing to us challenges that require us to be flexible, and to be in the present moment. We are also so inspired by the amazing online community that has grown even deeper for us since the magazine's inception. It is fabulous to contemplate what we all have at our fingertips each day - the connections, the stories, and the craft.
Rhythm of the Home: Well motherhood, and family, lies at the root of the work that we do. In many ways motherhood was what brought us to this work. But when you have young children, it can be hard to find a moment to nurture your creative spirit in some way that is separate from your identity as a mother. Motherhood became the catalyst for us to find the balance between the work of writing and creating that we had been doing for so many years, and the joys or raising a beautiful family that brings us so much joy.
For today's giveaway, Rhythm of the Home is offering THREE gifts, from contributors to the Spring edition:
