It's here!
And it's official. Everywhere we went this weekend - in Maine and New Hampshire both - we saw and rejoiced in the first signs of SPRING: short-sleeves, mud, sunshine, bicycles, sandals, baseball, ice cream, maple syrup in-progress, robins, first flowers poking through, open windows....and so much more.
I often hear myself repeating the words from Lois' Lenski's Spring is Here (as one apparently does when one reads the same simple sweet children's book for ten years straight): "Spring is here today! Open the door, come out and play - Spring has come to stay!"
