The past few days have found us unplugged and deep in the woods of Downeast
Maine. Blogging continued here as normal, thanks to automatic posts. Though, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that - it feels a bit
like cruise control, which I never use, much to the humor of my sweet
husband. Despite being the same number of buttons to push, and really the same amount of attention paid to the details, something
just feels a little bit strange when I'm not actually pushing the button
at the moment at which things happen. So there you have it - I'm not sure I'll do it again and I think I just outed myself as an archaic kind of blogger (oh, the irony).
But the woods! Oh, the woods were a bit of bliss. Bliss of our favorite summer camp kind - a whole lot of swimming, boating, some knitting (lots to talk
about this week in that department!), and lots of swinging in what my kids have determined to be the 'best swing on earth' (thank you, Grampie!). All enjoyed in the company of family over a long weekend. Good, good times.
It was a wonderful weekend. I hope yours was too!
