Today, I bring you a giveaway from SouleMama Sponsor, The Waldorf Connection. In Donna's words:
"The Waldorf Connection workshops were created to help families understand Waldorf concepts and improve their confidence & clarity, while providing a supportive community! The Waldorf Connection supports the online community with in–depth workshops, programs, online book studies, from Early Childhood education to homeschooling programs.
"My quirky homeschool blog where I document our homeschool days is School for All Seasons."
SouleMama: What inspired you to start your business?
Donna: After a few years of struggling to “figure out” Waldorf methods on my own, I decided I couldn’t be the only one with questions! I knew if I could ask experts and teachers to explain these concepts and ideas, it would go along way in my homeschooling lessons. This idea and the fact that I was the only one I knew that had even heard of Waldorf Education, led me to create a virtual support community called, The Waldorf Connection. We are getting ready to celebrate our 1 year anniversary in November. It has been a tremendous success this past year!
SouleMama: How has motherhood changed the work that you do? How do you balance work and family?
Donna: In my case, it has made my work possible. If I had not decided to raise my twin girls in this mindful way, and start homeschooling with Waldorf Education, I wouldn’t be doing what I am doing. It takes organization and flexibility to be able to homeschool young children and run a business from home. This past year has given me opportunities to grow and to define what my limits and boundaries are. My family comes first, and sometimes that means I am working late at night so I am able to be “mom” during the day.
For today's giveaway, The Waldorf Connection is generously offering the following gift to one lucky winner:
This is an interactive 6-week course where you get a “backstage pass” into Waldorf Education. Led by 5 Waldorf early education teachers, you will get a chance to learn and ask questions around the elements needed to build a strong foundation for your child, while receiving the support you need as a mom.
