SouleMama: What's coming up next for Sundara Yarn?
Sundara: We just released a new sock pattern that I find so pretty, the Florencia socks. I love how the stitch pattern of these socks seems so delicate, yet is actually very warm and sturdy when knit up. (Seen below.)
SouleMama: What's your favorite part of your job? And the most challenging?
Sundara: I love being able to find a way to take something that could be considered a problem and turn it into something that is actually better than the original plan, idea or way of doing something. It's so easy to get disappointed when things don't turn out the way you want, but to turn that disappointment into excitement or gratification is exceptionally rewarding.
SouleMama: Do you have a favorite spot in your home?
Sundara: I have a kitchen island that is the center of the main living space and is surrounded by windows with views of the trees and some of the hills of Seattle. I do most of my computer work here and I love feeling like I'm up amongst the trees, watching the seasons change.
