I thought you might like to join us on our Solstice morning walk in the woods. It had just begun lightly snowing that morning and became the first real snow (that stayed on the ground) of the season. What a sweetly timed gift! We are all continuing to enjoy exploring and getting to know these "new" old woods around us, and finding our way through the old paths that are scattered throughout. We're watching closely as the landscape around us changes, changing with it the landmarks we are just becoming familiar with. And what a change has taken place since the last time my camera came along! The full and beautiful swing of the seasons at work.
And today...there is a whole new world out there with a foot of snow having just fallen yesterday. So very much to explore! Another walk is surely in order today, though I think this one might just require skis and sleds.
Happy Winter Days!
