Today, I bring you a giveaway from SouleMama Sponsor Wild Child Woolies. In shopkeeper Angela's words:
"Wild Child Woolies offers wool interlock diaper covers for cloth diapered babies and toddlers that are both fun and functional. Our wool interlock soakers are trim fitting while our longies and shorties offer a more relaxed, casual fit. WCW combines the best of softness and wetness protection into the perfect cover for your baby."
"We have a brand new sister site/blog- Wild About Woolies where I will be building a resource for all topics covering diapering wool. The best way to keep up with what is happening with WCW is by joining us on Facebook."
SouleMama: What's your favorite part of your job? The most challenging?
Angela: The favorite part of my job is that I get to spend all day, every day with my children. And the most challenging part of my job is I get to spend all day, every day with my children! I love that what I do allows me the freedom to choose to homeschool and to be here when they need me. But it is also challenging because there is no division between home/family, school and work. It's all here around me, all the time. Most of the time that is fine, wonderful even. But there's also the elusive balance that I have yet to master between the different roles I play every day.
SouleMama: How are your children incorporated into your business?
Angela: I have 5 children and they all have their different role in my business. My oldest daughter is a teenager. She helps with cutting or packing and shipping orders. She also helps with the younger children by babysitting and doing some school with them so I can sneak away to work. My middle two sons love to give design advice (whether I ask for it or not!). They like to give me ideas as to which colors go together or what applique designs I should use. They also help with the two youngest even if that just means being playmates. My youngest son was my inspiration to start WCW and my comic relief during long work days. And my youngest daughter is my first line tester for new designs as well as the cutest woolie model ever!
SouleMama: What's the product you are most excited about offering right now?
Angela: I love, love, love making the MasterPiece line. The MasterPiece line consists of smaller, scrap pieces of fabric stitched together into a new single piece of fabric with a unique, scrappy look. I then add fun appliques and finish the fabric into longies, shorties, soakers or shirts.. Each one turns into it's own mini piece of art. It allows me a lot of creative freedom and the possibilities for color combinations and designs are endless so it keeps my mind constantly dreaming up new MasterPieces.
