SouleMama: Tell us what you envision and dream for the future of your business.
Amy: I really love how this little boutique has come together. It would be so lovely to see it continue to grow organically, with roots firmly in the rich tradition of handmade and a wide canopy of talented and creative designers contributing to the collection. A new web site a little later this fall will bring one aspect of my vision for the company to fruition, which is very exciting. But oh, I have so many ideas! There's always something that I'm working on!
SouleMama: What artists/crafters/teachers have inspired your life?
Amy: Definitely the most inspiring crafter in my life is my mom. She's incredibly talented and is always happy to fuel my obsession with more ideas, luscious yarn, and yummy fabric.
SouleMama: How are your children incorporated into your business?
Amy: I really love making things for my kids, and with a shop full of incredible patterns there is never a shortage of projects I'm working on for them. Making their clothes or toys gives me a chance to test out the patterns I sell—and feel that incredible rush of joy when I notice that I made everything they're wearing!
