SouleMama: How long have you been in business?

Kara (shop owner):  12 years.

SouleMama: Tell us about your background. What path led you to the work you do today?

Kara: I started designing and reconstruction clothes in my early 20’s under the label Kara-line and wild carrots...i opened my 1st boutique Tumbleweed in my 30’s had a baby and shortly after opened the childrens shop right next store. 

SouleMama: Tell us about the beginnings of your business.

Kara: I kept things very simple and I still do.

SouleMama: What does a typical day at work look like for you?

Kara: Up early...walk the dog...feed my boy...off to work...order, design, juggle...what ever the day has to offer... 

SouleMama: What inspired you to start your business?

Kara: To create an environment that makes you feel comfortable and to make the world a better place. 

SouleMama: How do you come up with new ideas?

Kara:  I listen I learn and evolve.

SouleMama: Do you have a favorite inspirational quote?

Kara: Keep calm and carry on.
