Today, I bring you a feature from SouleMama Sponsor, Ida Pearle, artist of fine art for children.
SouleMama: Tell us about your beginnings.
Ida: I started making collages for children about 14 years ago. Soon after, I was able to open the virtual doors to my business idapearle.com. My earliest collages were gifts made for friends. One of the very first collages I made was given to musician Elizabeth Mitchel and her husband Daniel. And the very first person to purchase a collage, was Elizabeth's sister. In the early days, every piece I sold was a collage made by hand. I still love to create original collages but I've since been able to offer my work in print form, which allows me to share my work with many more children, and their parents.
For today's feature, Ida Pearle is generously offering the following (in her own words):
Each print comes with a copy of 'Sunny Day' signed by Elizabeth Mitchell and her daughter Storey, as well as a signed copy of Ida's book 'a Child's Day'. This very special collection of items is available for $65.
Please email [email protected] with the address you'd like the print sent to in the body of the email.
