Right now, I am...
:: waiting for my night owl, late-riser Ezra to wake up so that we can sing, dance, hug and celebrate his Golden Birthday - nine on the ninth.
:: guessing that he's got about ten more minutes before we give up on holding the rest of them back from jumping all over him in their excitement.
:: wondering, as always on these days, how it is that time can be going by so fast. Wasn't it just yesterday that little peanut was born, bright eyes wide open to the world?
:: loving the right now of who he is - this smart and very funny fellow of mine, still bright-eyed and wide open to the world.
:: anticipating taking him to his birthday gift in a couple of weeks - a date with Mama and Papa to hear one of his favorites, M. Ward.
:: reeling from all the good food, time with friends new and old, and only a little bit too much sugar from yesterday's celebration in someone else's lovely barn.
:: listening, this morning to the inspiring, powerful and important work of a friend.
:: downloading the new Dar Williams album to listen to later.
:: counting fourty-five eggs in the coop this morning.
:: hoping that Emily, the sheep, does not find her way to the porcupine again anytime soon. (Ouch. And, oh my!)
:: believing that everytime I put on a skirt and party shoes, an alert must go out to all livestock letting them know it's time to escape.
:: confirming that the fence gate is not as secure as we thought it was.
:: making plans to fix that today.
:: thinking we've had quite a wild first week to sheep farming.
:: doing the math in my head of two games plus two practices a week times three kids in three different baseball leagues.
:: deciding it might be best to take that overwhelming schedule just one day at a time.
:: getting very excited about all the wonderful Taproot submissions coming together for the next issue.
:: wanting to do some spring clothes sewing this week, with offers of help from at least two of my babes.
:: hearing some stirrings from upstairs.
:: leaving my studio for the day to celebrate!
:: wishing you all a very lovely day.
