RIght now, I am...
:: feeling rather sleepy from the late night, early morning news of my newest niece's arrival.
:: thinking I'd best get those needles clacking soon. (It's a good thing newborn babies are small.)
:: appreciating, very much, another day of sunshine and warm temperatures now that the ground is properly soaked from last week's rain.
:: anticipating spending much of the day 'out in it' as we say.
:: reminding myself to find a shearer this week for Cinnamon.
:: wondering what on earth I'm going to do after that. (I must try out some wheels soon!)
:: hoping to get most of my new "kitchen" garden planted today (herbs right outside my kitchen door).
:: getting very excited about attending my first Brimfield later this week. (Recommendations? Advice?)
:: planning on fiddlheads for dinner again. Just because, they're so good and the season is so short.
:: loving watching the honeybees soak up all that dandelion goodness, and Harper too, who can't pass one by without stopping.
:: looking at my studio desk, freshly clean and sparse for a Monday morning start with just a cup of tea and the final edits of Taproot, Issue Two in front of me.
:: hearing the stomping down the stairs (there is no pitter-pattering here) of at least two waking up children.
:: remembering that we're out of oatmeal, yogurt and bread.
:: wishing Steve well (from the closed door of my studio) convincing them that eggs for breakfast would be fun.
:: knowing that this week will be a flurry of activity from baseball games to dance rehersals to travels and deadlines.
:: wanting to treat it all just like a wave, and ride it.
:: thinking it's time to get to it.
:: sending you wishes for a lovely start to your own week, friends.
