Excuse my radio silence here yesterday. Typepad - my blog hosting service - apparently had quite a rough day, and my pre-written and scheduled blog post got sucked into the abyss of the internets, never to be seen again! In seven years of blogging with them, that's never happened. So there you go - a perfectly understandable hiccup.
But the quiet of yesterday is now replaced by the 'noise' of today's photographs....for I have sights from my Brimfield adventure to share! Oh me, Oh my. Brimfield. (Christine just wrote a lovely post about her own visit, full of great tips.)
With the lovely Ms. Brenner at my side, and no children on our backs, we walked and walked and walked and walked (I can officially declare my Aurora Shoes to be my most comfy of all), and looked at as much of Brimfield as we could in a day. We found things both beautiful and bizarre, wondered if perhaps an extra zero was accidentally placed on the price tag a few times (of course not), and simply marveled at all the stuff - in the arms of shoppers, in the tents, and well, in the world, really. Wow.
We arrived home late last night, a little bit tired but very happy and content. Grateful for inspiration, eye candy, and and the company at my side. I did find a few utilitarian, sweet and affordable treasures that came home with us. I'll clean those up to share soon enough. But for today - I thought you might like to stroll with me through the aisles for a tiny little peek of Brimfield. (And you don't even need your comfy walking shoes on!) Enjoy....
