I woke early this morning to begin the day. (Though not as early as the girl who had already found her way to the pasture. She said the rooster woke her up. We have no rooster.)
A written to do list wasn't exciting me, and so a visual photographic list it is. All good things, all things I'm looking forward to, all demanding my attention today: editing the lovely pieces that have come in as submissions for Taproot's RETREAT issue, due out in early September; weeding, weeding and more weeding; and a painting project so very close to complete. Should all of that slide nicely into completion or more likely, at least into the 'enough for today' column, I shall wrestle that (big!) bundle of fleece to the bathtub and wash it. It's beginning to, well, smell like the barnyard in my studio. (Which isn't such a terrible thing, really.)
Cheers to good work and good play alike. Wishing you a day with the same!
