It is such a treat to watch people doing their thing, isn't it? When they can make magic happen with their ideas and their hands, their dreams and plans? It's been such a pleasure watching the flowers grow - literally and figuratively - at the farm of my friend Stacy Brenner. On a morning last week, she was gracious enough to invite me into FLORA*BLISS (a dooryard farmstand at Broadturn Farm) to watch the height of a weekend of flower activity - where I could hover, click away and even play with the flowers myself. It was a barn full of gorgeous organic flowers and the lovely ladies who turn them into creations that make me want to get married all over again so I can cover every surface with their goodness. Or maybe just throw a big party. Or heck, bring home a boquet and make every single day the party. Yes, please. Sweet bliss.
