{Writing our cards from Tiny Prints; blocking Odette; a stocking ready to go; Mama Cat in progress; a rather ambitious cousin pajama plan, in Anna Maria's Field Study; Taproot's new downloadable cards for last minute subscription giving; peppermint lip balm; and peppermint bark...of course.}
More details about all of those things on the flip side of this holiday week, once all has been completed, given received. But for now, there is still much making to be done. Some of these things might not make it to the finish line, and that's okay too. (In which case, is it totally not cool for me to gift my own magazine? Hmn. Okay...never mind.) In between the little bits of stitching, sewing, blocking, and baking are the most wonderful of interruptions right now from my littles, needing help with one thing or another as they do the very same merry making in their own hidden-away corners of the house. It may just be potholders and clay bowls and stuffed kitties that we're making, but it really does feel like magic, all this making. Perhaps my favorite kind of holiday magic.
