{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week*. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see.
*It's the holidays, go ahead a break the rules by sharing on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday...and share some words and an extra photo or ten! (I'll be running giveaways starting on Friday this weekend, but do continue to post in this thread if you'd like.)
. . . . . . . .
It's been a week full of so much goodness. From loud and boistrous celebratory fun with extended family to quieter moments of ritual and togetherness at home. It's bliss, really, all this extra special celebrating and magic on the canvas of the everyday struggle, mess and chaotic joy of seven people loving, learning, growing and living together in one space.
The snow has been falling for days, gently at first and now with gusto. After today's storm, I don't think we'll see the ground until spring. With a house fresh and tidy from the post-Christmas clean up, and new treats and toys for everyone to enjoy, today we'll hunker down and watch the snow fall. Knit, read, and maybe ski a little bit later...oh, these days, these moments, are good.
