A blizzard, indeed! While the total accumulation here wasn't as much as that a bit to the south of us, it was still more snow than I think I've ever seen come down in one storm. And in true blizzard fashion, too - high winds, and blowing snow that went on through the night and day. Amazingly, we didn't lose power for a single second and besides a fallen tree knocking down the sheep fencing (which we noticed before the girls did, thankfullly), all on this little homestead fared quite well in the wintry weather. We were all especially happy when it was over and the labor of plowing and shoveling out (ahem), and work of building snowforts and sled jumps and forging new ski paths through the woods could begin. It certainly feels like a white, white winter out there now!
