We're just back from a wintry weekend away with dear friends - a cabin full of adventure-seeking adults and the more than eager children that outnumbered us. Full of all the winter sport - on ice, on sled, on ski - to put butterflies in our stomachs, and thrill the daylights out of us all. And the perfect ice complement - fire - to return to for warming, games and just a little bit of knitting, of course. All in all, just the dose of winter medicine needed to remind us all of the possibilities - and the magic - we can find, when we look for it in Winter.
