We are so happy to launch Taproot Issue 6 :: WATER into the world this week! Just back from the printer, subscriber copies are making their way out the door and into your hands as I type. Newsstand copies are on their way too (a partial list of stockists can be found here, and we're also at most Whole Foods). And of course, we have single issues and subscriptions (starting with this very issue) available in the online shop too.
You can see all kinds of peeks into this issue above. Good stuff in here, I tell you. I continue to be blown away by the art, photography, poetry and stories that come our way in our themes of food, farm, family and craft. Familiar faces and new contributors too. Stories that inspire, stories that connect us. It's a delight to pull them together for each issue. And a delight to dream up the extras too - like the set of agrarian postcards by Kimberly Peck exclusive for subscribers with this issue. And the artwork from these pages that we've released as signed giclee prints (seen above), as has become our tradition with each issue. And the Taproot Gathering at Squam that we're hard at work in preparing for. And oh, so many other surprises in store with Taproot in the months and years to come.
