SouleMama: Tell us what you envision and dream for the future of your business.

Tuula: We keep moving forward, doing new things or doing old things in a different way. At the moment we are exploring a way to produce and distribute sewing patterns in a more ecological way. We believe e-patterns will be a great success in the future and we are thrilled to be involved with them. We also look forward to hearing our customers thoughts about them!

 SouleMama: What's the product or offering that you are most excited about in your shop right now? Tell us about it.

Tuula: The most exciting thing right now is our Kokeshi Pinafore Dress pattern. We can already call it a small phenomenon. We released it's "little sister" the Babushka Pinafore dress ages ago. This pattern is for a sweet baby pinafore with a Babushka doll applique on the front and was included in our spring issue 1/2009. This issue has been sold out for years, but many customers have requested this particular pinnie pattern. So we decided to modify Babushka into a single pattern and sell it on our Etsy shop.

After Babushka, customers began to request the same pinnie in bigger sizes, so we released Babushkas "big sister" the Kokeshi Pinafore pattern in sizes 92-128 cm. There must be hundreds of little maidens walking around with their new Kokeshi Pinafores somewhere, because our pattern plotter doesn't do anything else, but print out Kokeshi patterns day after day.
