Today, we bring you a giveaway from SouleMama Sponsor, Bee's Wrap. In Sarah's words:
"Bee's Wrap is a reusable beeswax and cloth alternative to plastic wrap. Use the warmth of your hands to mold the Bee's Wrap to create a seal around the top of a bowl, half of a lemon, a crusty loaf of bread, wrap cheese or a sandwich, when cool the wrap stiffens holding its shape and seal. Rinse with cool water and use again and again.
Visit our Facebook page to see what is happening at Bee's Wrap this week."
SouleMama: As a child, what did you wish to become when you grew up?
Sarah: I always wanted to have a home with a family, a big garden, fruit trees and berry bushes, very simple. As I grew older I could see myself running some sort of business, my ideas took different shapes depending on what was going on in my life. Sometimes it was a restaurant (my husband is a trained chef), sometimes a little shop or an artist's studio, selling my creations. I found myself very busy with my family and mini farm and my ideas were kept on hold. Now, that my business is solidifying and growing, it is pretty exciting seeing what it is I was meant to do and figuring out how to make it all work.
SouleMama: Tell us what you envision and dream for the future of your business.
Sarah: I would love to see Bee's Wrap become commonplace in the kitchen as a plastic wrap alternative for food storage. We have gotten so used to using plastic for wrapping cheese, bread and vegetables, yet there are alternatives. Bee's Wrap is a simple solution to taking small steps towards a cleaner, healthier environment for our families and has the potential to become "normal".
Sarah: Day to day stuff can keep me from looking at the bigger picture and from dreaming about the future and what I want Bee's Wrap to become. Every once in a while when my littlest is napping and the big kids are busy with their own activities I pull my chair up to the edge of the garden where I can see the mountains, yet feel like I am barely seen and can look out over the garden. Right now in my little spot there are ripe black raspberries for picking and mallow and black eyed susans blooming in a wild tangle. It is a lovely spot to sit with a notebook and let the creativity flow.
