SouleMama: Tell us about your background. What path led you to the work you do today?
Erin: We first began as a creative outlet- I was a stay at home mom of 4 little ones with a blog and the need for a hobby. I taught myself how to make jewelry for fun and first began stamping on my kitchen counters, then assembling and shipping form the kitchen table. Eventually I began to get overwhelmed and faithful friends jumped in to help. We now have a thriving online website, a wholesale collection that is carried all over the U.S. and we are opening our third retail store in Houston, TX (grand opening is Saturday, November 2nd!) Our other 2 stores are in Tulsa, OK and Edmond/OKC, OK.
SouleMama: Do you have a favorite inspirational quote?Erin : Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
This is our team "motto", to use the skills that God has blessed us with to do good for others. We love to give and help people in need, and the success of the business allows us to do so!
SouleMama: What's your favorite part of your job? The most challenging?
Erin: I feel extremely blessed that I get to work with my closest friends everyday. My favorite part is brainstorming and creating new pieces with them.
The most challenging part is balancing work and home life, sometimes I have a hard time turning off "business" mode, and I want to be totally "there and present" for my family when they want me.
