Ah, wintry weather. It arrived this weekend in full force, putting a kink in our plans. The family party we were scheduled to host here was postponed as we all watched the snow come down...and then come down more...and even then some more. No bother, we will reschedule somehow, for certain. And instead this weekend, we got the unexpected gift of a weekend at home, just the seven of us. With a clean house (impending parties are always good for that), and plenty of fun party food in the fridge to boot. It was the first wintry weekend of the season, really, and a lovely one it was. With the tree now decorated, all hats/gloves/boots/skis/sleds/shovels present and accounted for (oh wow!), I do believe we are ready for the season ahead.
