Well, hello there! I have missed you! If you've stopped by in the past couple of days you likely found no blog at all. My blogging platform, Typepad, has been under a DDoS attack. Frustrating for all involved, to say the least. But I'm grateful for the team's hard work in getting everything restored and stable (and pleased that in nearly ten years of blogging, an outtage of this length has never happened before!). There's a chance things might be a little funky still today - I'm not certain that comments are fully functional yet, but hopefully all will be well soon.
Thank you for your patience! I enjoyed keeping up with you on Instagram and Twitter in the blog's absence, but oh, this place is my online home, to be sure. It's good to be back up and running, and able to post the little pieces of life that we share together here. Food and farm, babies and kids, and yarn and fabric. As I intended to tell you on Monday morning.....
Eastover dinner with friends at Broadturn Farm (where I hear there are just a few summer CSA shares left, for those of you local and lucky enough to enjoy it!). A blissful day in the sunshine spent celebrating spring and the spring holidays with friends new and old. That's just what we all needed, and just what we got this glorious weekend. New dresses and bow ties, too, for those willing to wear them for the ocassion. The girls, Geranium dresses, and the Sunday Best Bow Tie for Harper.
A day with friends in the sunshine, amazing food, new duds, chocolate bunnies for breakfast, and somehow I even got a photograph of all five of my children clean and smiling. A glorious day, indeed.
