We have yet to have our first fire in the woodstove, but I feel it coming. Yarn is beginning to occupy my hands more than it has been for a whole season, warming pies and soups are preferred out of the kitchen, and little ones chase the sunshine around the house for all their artwork and reading pleasure - just like the cats. Everything is beginning to feel cozy, and I'm finding myself in that lovely and always-welcome autumn nesting mode. Tidying up, cleaning out, rearranging and changing things up - all to make room for the kind of living and playing and working we'll be doing inside in the months ahead. There are so many gorgeous autumn days still to enjoy and we are certainly doing that....oh, but I think we're all looking forward to coming in too.
