Issue 14::WILD of Taproot is out in the wild now (sorry, I couldn't resist). And there is just so much goodness inside! Let's take a peek, shall we?
"To be whole. To be complete. Wildness reminds us what it means to be human, what we are connected to rather than what we are separate from."
- Terry Tempest Williams
This issue includes all the things we hope you've come to expect and love in the pages of Taproot, along with a whole lot of fresh and new faces in our contributors. We have some great foraging advice, smoothie recipes like none you've made before, wildcrafted fermentation, instructions on making your own seedballs, crochet stones, printed tea towels and so much more storytelling, art and photography filling those one hundred pages (but no ads, of course!).
With this issue, we're releasing two fun art treats, available now in the shop. A set of postcards by Morgan Padgett, and a wild and colorful print by Molly Costello - both new artists to us that we're so glad to include in our pages!
And while I'm chatting all things Taproot today, I'm so excited to tell you that we're headed West soon! Later this week, I'll be traveling to the other Portland to meet up with our illustrator Phoebe Wahl who will join me for some events (below). I am hoping to visit as many Taproot stockists as I can, and all those wonderful Northwest contributors we have, and readers too! If you're in the area for either of these stops, do come say hello!
