Ah, my wild and crazy, wonderful garden. That's exactly how it feels this week, a week in which I've taken hardly more than a moment each day to run out there and grab a snack for the beach - snap peas and raspberries, or dream up something quick and easy for dinner - roasted beets and kale over quinoa. Yes, 'swimming and ice cream' all the days hasn't left a lot of room for garden work. It's sliding this week, growing a bit wild, but hopefully something I'll be able to reign back in, in a jiffy, just as soon as Pop is home and I can spend a solid day out there. I'm looking forward to it.
For now, we are enjoying those things we bring in - beets, plenty of greens, peas, and berries now. And feeling full of gratitude for this space that offers us so much.
. . . . . .
During the growing season, I share a garden update once a week. If you are doing the same (on any day of the week) in your own online space, please leave a link in the comments section below so that we can take a stroll through your garden! Or simply, in your words, share what you've been up to in your own garden. Be sure not to miss the comments of these posts, as the garden wisdom shared by all of you is such a beautiful thing to see - I learn so much every week! Thank you, friends. And blessings on another year in the garden!
