Hi there! My name is Crystal Tracy and I run a small business called Sweet Jane Studio where I design and make unique, colourful clothing for all the special little people in your life. I work out of my home studio in northern parries of Canada in Edmonton, Alberta.

Crystal: I started Sweet Jane Studio five and a half years ago by selling a few dresses I'd made at a local craft show. I was so scared that no one would buy anything from me that I barely slept the night before the show. But, people liked what I made and bought the dresses and I loved the whole experience so much I kept going with it! I have 3 kids who were and are a great inspiration for me. Without them I might not have the burning NEED to get time to myself and do something creative. They're also great sports and let me try stuff on them when figuring out new patterns and they reluctantly agree to be my models for website photos! I still sell at local craft shows but also have my own online store as well. It makes me SO HAPPY when I hear that one of my dresses is a little girl's favourite and she wears it every day - even to bed! Or that one of my t-shirts is the first thing a little boy will choose when getting dressed in the morning. I'd love to get my clothes on as many little people as possible so I can hear more stories like this from my customers.

The clothes you make are really adorable! I would totally want a t-shirt for myself if you made it that size. And is it "Sweet Jane" as in "Jack is in his coats and Jane is in her vest. And me I'm in a rock'n'roll band - ha!" ? Totally love it, your small business.
