Laura: At this time last year I led my second annual complimentary Word of the Year call. My word of the year in 2014 was “mission” and my word of the year in 2015 was “leadership.” In the same way that I guided the listeners on the call to connect deeply to a word they wanted to live by, I used these words “mission” in 2014 and “leadership” in 2015, as guideposts for how I showed up over the last two years. The result has been profound for me personally and has helped me facilitate profound growth in the women that I serve: Mamas on a Mission who are awakening to their paths as joyful change-makers at home and in community. I support the full range of quiet courage, profound love, and fierce devotion we are capable of through the private work of motherhood and public work of change-making at the community level. The Nourished Home is a hub for mothers who are devoted to making this world a better place by raising conscious, fully-expressed children, and for women leaders, activists, healers, and artists who are ready to fully awaken to their most powerful work as Mamas on a Mission.
