We run a busy webstore that sends fabric all over the globe, offer long arm quilting machine services, and hold workshops & events in our spacious classroom. Alewives has a dozen employees (in fact, Barbara and Rhea are just one of three mother/daughter teams working at Alewives Fabrics!) and we're very proud and blessed to be a locally-owned, family-run business!

Rhea: Alewives is very excited to be launching the Low Volume Monthly Color Club! Each month for one year we will send a bundle of 10 "low volume" fat quarters to subscribers. "Low Volume" refers to the trend of quiet, more muted fabrics (usually a small print on a white background: kind of like shirting, only more modern!). Each bundle of fat quarters will feature a color "theme." Themes include white, pink, red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, blue, purple, brown, black and gray. Membership in the club is $29.95 a month and includes FREE domestic first class shipping. Sign ups for the club start Saturday, March 12th and the first bundle will ship out on May 1st!
