I'm incredibly thrilled to tell you that Issue 17::MYTH of Taproot is out in the world! Not since our very first issue have I been as excited (and nervous) about an issue as I have been for this one. Marking the beginning of year five, and with an absolutely fabulous team in place, we felt like we were really able to make some changes we've been talking about behind the scenes for a while now. Better paper. Bigger pages. MORE pages! Sixteen more pages of content, and one whole inch taller of space. That's a lot more room for all the good things we want to include in here - from personal narrative to mythical tales. From food recipes to craft projects. Comic strips and crochet patterns (there's still knitting, don't you worry!). Oh, and coloring pages!! Inside each issue now, you'll find two removable coloring pages for you to enjoy (and for those with an issue in hand, a code to download more online). The motivation for the coloring pages may have had some selfish intention behind it (as you see above!), but I have no doubt I'm not the only one who is excited about that addition. Ah, this was a wonderful issue to put together, and a thrilling one to finally hold in my hands. I hope that you, too, enjoy the additions and the changes, along with all the regular good stuff we hope you love about Taproot. Most especially, I am proud to say (thanks to our subscribers!!), that the pages are still free from the distraction of advertising.
