I had intended to wait until more colors were added to the pile of cotton I've dyed recently. But it was just too tempting sitting there on my studio table, all full of sunshine as the colors are. I thought I'd just try one little block, but before I knew it, I was halfway to a quilt. Well, perhaps not halfway, but this will be a small one - I'm thinking of something like a fall picnic blanket kind of quilt. The blocks are roman squares, and a total delight to put together. Ah, there's nothing like the start of a new quilt!
