So...we got some snow! Rather a lot, actually. It just kept snowing, and snowing, and snowing..... And would you guess what's going to happen today? A snowstorm! Ah, we are getting ALL of a winter condensed into one week this year, I think! Miraculously, we did not lose power. All the animals fared just fine. And so did the people - for the most part. There was a little bit of cabin fever kicking in towards the end, as it felt like days and days since anyone had been able to leave the house beyond the woods and yard, and six kids, well that's a small circus of energy. That might have been exacerbated by the horror of running out of the magic three - chocolate, cheese and wine. I know. I should totally know better than to not have enough of those things on hand, this is not my first time in a snowstorm. But I assure you we are plenty well stocked on all three fronts before today's first snowflake will fall. And I have not one but two knitting projects ready to begin. Ah...there's nothing like a good old fashioned snow storm. Or three.
