Established in 1975, Alewives Fabrics is housed in a big red barn in Midcoast Maine. We sell fabrics all over the world through our web store, and our brick and mortar shop is open seven days a week, all year round. At Alewives we carry the best of contemporary textiles but also timeless, classic designs. Although we specialize in quilting weight cotton we also carry home decorator weight, rayon, lawn, voile, vinyl laminate, jersey, corduroy and a great selection of organic fabrics as well.
