All the laying around and knitting (and many many visits to the chiropractor) are paying off - my ribs are healing. And slowly but surely, I'm finding my way to the garden! It's exciting, getting my hands in the soil and feeling a little more in tune with where I'm usually at this time of year. Last weekend was warm and sunny, with rain at night. And we had nothing on the calendar! A delightful combination to make all my gardening dreams true. I will admit that I took full advantage of the sympathy coming my way from the kids. "Oh, poor Mom feels behind in the garden. She needs our help!" Ah...yes, please and thank you.
