Greetings from Sarah’s Silks!
Sarah’s Silks provides simple, open ended toys to inspire imaginative play as we believe creative childhoods are the happiest and also the best path to finding meaningful, adult lives.
Follow us on Instagram for inspiration and coupons. And on Facebook for giveaways and sales.
Since the last time you were featured on SouleMama, in what ways has your business grown or changed? Is there anything new you'd like to tell us about?
We have moved out of our home studio into a lovely warehouse space in Sebastopol, CA! It is only 10 minutes from our home in Forestville, which is nice and finally we have enough space!
I was also lucky to be interviewed by Kirsten Rickert of @magnesium_blue. She wove my story into almost a fairy tale! You can see some of the photos in the collage below; me as a girl playing pretend, as a maternal-child nurse Peace Corps Guatemala, 23 years ago dyeing the first playsilks for my own son, and now in our new space. You can listen to Kirsten on my Facebook page and on our website.
This weekend, Sarah’s Silks is generously offering the following gift to ONE lucky SouleMama reader:
A Wavee Board of your choice!
Our version of the popular rocker board, a classic Waldorf toy, found in classrooms all over the world. These are another open-ended toy that kids play with in many ways, building strength and agility. Made for us in North Carolina. 12” x 38” available in natural, aqua and berry. $129.
In addition, Sarah’s Silks is offering all SouleMama readers 20% off your order (try a Wavee board)! Use code soulemama. Ends 6/30/17
